FROM THE TRAIN STATION
The apartments are a short distance from the Railway Station. On foot you can follow the river to where it meets the sea and upon reaching the Santa Catalina bridge cross over into the Avenida de La Libertad. Calle Okendo (Okendo Street) is the first street on the right.
However, if arriving with suitcases it is advisable to take a short taxi ride.
FROM THE BUS STATION
Bus no’s 26 and 28 go to calle Okendo (Okendo Street) and stop literally a few metres from the apartments.
BY CAR
Upon reaching San Sebastian take the exit marked SAN SEBATIAN-AMARA. Follow the signs for the centre CENTRO/ERDIA heading alongside the river. Upon passing the second bridge on the right hand side, take the exit marked ‘centro’ on the left. This exit forks into two: going left takes you to calle Etxaide (Etxaide Steet), which crosses the Avenida and then becomes calle Okendo (Okendo street) and thus literally brings you to the apartments. Going right takes you to the Paseo de los Fueros and directly to the entrance to the Okendo and Boulevard carparks where you can park your car.

Given the extensive gastronomical choice on offer, we are more than willing to handle any reservations. Incidentally, San Sebastian is the city with the most Michelin stars per inhabitant, which makes a must for food enthusiasts.

Given that the best way to get around the city is by bike, we have plenty of information on where to hire.

EVENTS OF INTEREST
19-20 of January –SAN SEBASTIAN DAY – THE CELEBRATIONS BEGINNING THE NIGHT BEFORE
This is the most typical festival in the city with its ‘TAMBORRADA’ or ‘Drum Playing.
FEBRERO-MARZO: CARNAVAL, the celebrations held in the nearby town of Tolosa being the most famous.
JULY. HORSERACING at the Zubieta hippodrome.
AUGUST- The week in which the 15th of the month falls is SEMANA GRANDE, and there are numerous activities such as open-air concerts and firework displays.
SEPTEMBER -REGATAS ((during the first two weeks of the month). There are races between different teams from local towns in ‘Traineras’ – the traditional rowing boats of This area. The races take place in the Bay of La Concha.
21st DECEMBER- SANTO TOMAS/ ST. THOMAS DAY: the most traditional basque festival, when the locals dress in regional costume and typical products can be sampled from the stalls set up around the city centre.
